About Jane
About Jane Clark
Senior History educator, examiner and specialist tutor with department leadership and UK and International Educational experience.

Jane’s approach
The aim is not to overwhelm students with more notes. It is to identify the specific skill or misconception holding them back and teach them how to improve it.
Lessons are focused, practical and built around the student’s real work wherever possible.
Experience behind the tuition
Senior History educator · Head of History experience · Examiner · GCSE & A-Level specialist · UK & international education · UCAS & EPQ guidance
That combination helps Jane look at a student’s work from both the teaching and assessment side: what they understand, what the question demands, and where marks are being lost.
Start with the student’s real work
Where possible, lessons use essays, mocks, school feedback and current topics so improvement is immediately relevant.
Make feedback usable
Jane focuses on the next practical change: stronger argument, better evidence selection, clearer judgement, source technique or timing.
Keep parents clear on next steps
The initial consultation is used to understand the current level, concerns and goals before any ongoing tuition plan is agreed.
