EPQ support that helps students think, plan and work independently
An interesting idea can become difficult to manage when the question is too broad, the reading has no direction or the deadline feels distant. Jane helps the student identify the next decision and a realistic way forward.
Support is tailored to the student’s actual project, stage and school requirements, across a wide range of interests. Jane has previously supported students taking both AQA and Edexcel EPQ specifications, including their production logs, assessment criteria and presentation requirements.
Guidance at the stage where it helps most
A first conversation can establish whether the immediate need is choosing a question, organising research, evaluating sources or reviewing progress. Later sessions can focus on structure, reflection or presentation preparation.
- Choosing and refining a suitable question
- Research planning and project management
- Source evaluation and referencing
- Academic structure and argument
- Time management and progress reviews
- Reflection and presentation preparation
The project remains the student’s own work
Jane provides guidance, questioning, feedback and skills support. She will not write assessed sections, rewrite assessed work for submission or fabricate research.
Support must remain within school, college and awarding-body rules. Ask the supervisor what external guidance is permitted and how it should be recorded before arranging help.
